Profhilo®
Profhilo® is an innovative injectable treatment, delivering intense hydration from within. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, it doesn’t add volume or alter facial structure. Instead, this is a skin bio-remodelling treatment that uses one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid available to deeply nourish the skin.
This process stimulates natural collagen and elastin production, and enhances skin elasticity, firmness and overall radiance. The result is smooth, more youthful skin with improved tone and texture.
The Treatment
During Profhilo® sessions, an ultra-pure hyaluronic acid is injected into five key points on each side of the face. These specific sites have been clinically identified as the first areas to show visible signs of ageing. The product spreads beneath the skin, hydrating and rejuvenating tissue from the inside out.
Profhilo® isn’t limited to the face alone; it treats areas prone to loss of elasticity too, such as the neck, décolletage, hands and knees. The treatment is quick, completed within 30 minutes, and it involves minimal discomfort or downtime.
An initial course includes two sessions spaced four weeks apart. To maintain results, a top-up treatment is recommended every six months depending on individual skin needs and lifestyle factors.
Aftercare
Following treatment, avoid touching or massaging the treatment area for at least 24 hours. Refrain from strenuous exercise, saunas and excessive sun exposure for two days to allow the product to settle evenly.
Keep the skin clean and hydrated. Avoid applying make-up until the next day.
Side Effects
Profhilo® is considered very safe, with side effects usually mild and short-lived. You may experience slight redness, swelling or small bumps at the injection sites. These typically resolve within 24 to 48 hours. Rarely, minor bruising or tenderness can occur.
