Aftercare
Keep the skin clean and avoid touching the face, only using a gentle cleanser and hydrating serum for the first 24 hours. Refrain from applying make-up, retinoids, exfoliants or any active skincare products for at least 48 to 72 hours.
Keep your skin hydrated with a soothing, gentle moisturiser or serum to help reduce redness and promote recovery.
Protect your skin from the sun by applying a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily and avoiding direct sunlight for several days.
Avoid heat exposure and activities that cause sweating, like saunas, hot showers and intense exercise, for 24 to 48 hours.
Side Effects
After the treatment, the skin may appear lightly sunburned and feel warm, but this subsides after 24 hours.
Recovery periods may take slightly longer if the skin is sensitive.
