Wrinkle Reduction

All this activity in raising eyebrows, smiling, squinting and frowning, in tandem with things like UV exposure, can lead to wrinkles developing – from forehead to frown and bunny lines, crow’s feet to symptoms of overactive lower facial muscles.

Safe, minimally intrusive, relatively pain-free and clinically proven to work, wrinkle reduction via botulinum toxin, commonly known as Botox, has a number of appealing factors to it. However, do keep in mind that results are temporary, lasting between 3 to 6 months. Therefore, we recommend semi-regular top-ups to maintain results. How is botulinum toxin manufactured?
Regularly employed for the treatment of medical issues such as spasm, migraine and excessive sweating, botulinum toxin is manufactured from a bacteria known as Clostridium botulinum.
How does botulinum toxin work?
It relaxes muscles by preventing or reducing the transmission of the nerve signals which cause them to contract.
How long will it take to fully recover?
While there is a slight chance of minor bruising, typically there is no downtime whatsoever.
What if I’m unhappy with the results?
It’s very rare clients are unhappy with our wrinkle reduction treatment, but you can rest assured that should you be, results are only temporary; in this regard it’s far less risky than opting for invasive surgery.
